Make time to explore the Cairngorms National Park when you stay at one of our holiday parks in Inverness-shire. Its outstandingly beautiful landscape is not only a haven for wildlife but also a stunning backdrop for hiking, mountain biking and climbing. Enjoy a nostalgic steam train ride on the Strathspey Railway from Aviemore to Broomhill, now famous as Glenbogle in TV’s Monarch of the Glen. For city pleasures, there’s Inverness, Capital of the Highlands, and home to an impressive Gothic cathedral as well as good shops and restaurants. Close by is the evocative windswept heath of Culloden battlefield. Be sure to take a whale and dolphin spotting boat trip in the Moray Firth - an unforgettable experience and surely a highlight of caravan holidays in Inverness-shire

The park layout is so spacious, and the relaxed friendliness so evident, that the clear Highland air and wonder of Loch Ness can truly work their magic to invigorate you......and as for strolling over a tumbledown stone bridge across a waterfall to fetch bread and milk first thing - wow, convenient, inspiring and indulgent!

Invermoriston Chalets were simply wonderful. Clean, warm, nicely furnished and well equipped for those of us who are too mean to buy meals and do our own cooking! All the facilities we needed were provided and the site owners firndly and helpful - they even let us check in at the airport on their computer - far beyond the call of duty. I cannot speak too highly of the holiday. Having not stayed in a chalet before we were wondering what to expect but we will certainly book similar holidays in the future. Freedom, quiet (We didn't hear anything from the other chalets although they were occupied.) and even good weather!

If you want real peace and quiet and to get away from works hustle and bustle then this is for you. Invermoriston has spectacular scenery which rejuvenates and refreshes the soul. The whole area is picturesque with beautiful villages and friendly locals which all make for a relaxing break. We would recommend this holiday to families and couples alike!

I would highly recommend this holiday for the exceptional quality of the accommodation, everything that you could think of had been supplied. The surrounding scenery was magnificent and there was easy access to the various attractions such as the Isle of Skye and Culloden Battlefield all within a radius of 55 Miles. I would not hesitate to return to Invermoriston Chalet Park again.

Excellent well run peaceful park, with lots of free space between chalets.

The park/accommodation was everything we needed to enjoy our first experience of the Scottish Highlands, and we'll hopefully be returning here again next year so we can visit the places that we missed out on this holiday. The Studio Chalet is just perfect for a couple, with everything you could need to enjoy your stay, (even a comfy bed). The local inn is within a 5 minute walk and serves excellent food and drink, a must on your "to visit agenda". The local Post Office/General store has most things you might need, if not then Fort Augusta (6 miles away) has a selection of food outlets to enable you to stock up. The surroundings to the park are so picturesque, what with the water falls/river on one side of the park, and a mountain on the other - what more could you ask for. A visit by a Golden Eagle rounded things off nicely for me, as well as all the other wildlife that is about. All the main attractions in the area are within 1-2 hours drive, and the shores of Loch Ness are just a 10 minute walk down the road. If you are one for punishment then a walk down the gorge to visit the Falls of Foyers is a must, or try the walk behind the local craft shop in Invermoriston (oxygen not provided for the unfit)!

Chalet was very well equipped. It was nicely situated, plenty of room between chalets. Nice play area for children. Plenty of walks for people with dogs. Staff were extremely helpful, they made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this holiday.

Our visit to Invermoriston was very pleasant, relaxing everything that we expected really. On arrival we were greeted by Errol and Clare who were both pleasant and delighted to have us on site. The Chalet was very clean, tidy, almost homely and with the added extras such as shower gel and cotton balls made us feel a little special. Would definitely book to come back again.
