Ash Lodge is one of several lodges and cottages situated close to or on the banks of Loch Feochan, some with sea views. The Lodges are nestled throughout seven acres of scenic wooded hillside in the peace and calm of Lerags Glen only three miles from Oban, "Gateway to the Isles". Only a short walk up the glen, a Country Pub can be found serving fine home-cooked food and ales and during the summer months music evenings and a traditional highland ceilidh are held. Lagnakeil is an exciting base to explore, yet safe for children. There are forestry trails and coastal walks as well as some fine Munros for hill walkers. The picturesque harbour town of Oban is only 3 miles away, with its many attractions, shopping facilities, fine eating establishments and activities for all the family, ranging from boat trips, to a visit to the Oban Distillery or any one of the spectacular gardens in the area. There is also a wide choice of outdoor activities to choose from including fishing, watersports, bike hire, clay pigeon shoot, horse riding and go-karting to name a few.
