Situated deep in the Highlands, 5 miles into beautiful Glen Urquhart from Loch Ness, these 3 red cedar chalets sit in the extensive well kept grounds of a lovely country house hotel amongst magnificent mountain and forest scenery near Loch Meiklie. Built to a high standard, the chalets have attractive timber interiors and are very comfortably furnished, well-appointed and personally supervised by the owners of the hotel where guests are most welcome for meals or drinks. There are peaceful shared garden areas with barbecues and outdoor furniture to enjoy the tranquillity. The lively, lochside community of Drumnadrochit (5 miles) has shops, pubs and visitor attractions. Inverness is 20 miles away. Glen Affric and Glen Cannich offer excellent walking, climbing, wild life and rare plants and Loch Ness provides water sports, sailing and cruises. Golf, riding and angling can be arranged. At the centre of the Highlands, this is an ideal base for exploring, with the Great Glen, Ben Nevis, Wester Ross, the Black Isle peninsula and the Cairngorm National Park all easily accessible by scenic roads through spectacular countryside. 1 double, 1 twin and 1 bunk bedroom (cots/high chairs available), living/dining/kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath. All electric. Fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, television, video, DVD, CD player. Bed linen and towels provided.
