Ski Ben Nevis, or take a ride in the spectacular gondola cable car to the top, which runs all year round, and enjoy a meal at the mountain restaurant. Take a bicycle ride along the scenic Great Glen Cycling route by the side of the Caledonian Canal. In the summer months the West Highland steam train, as seen in the Harry Potter films, can be taken to Maillaig, where ferries depart for the Isle of Skye and the small isles.
